Prayer based on Exodus 15:1-18 (The Song of Moses)
PRAYER: Today, I will sing to you, Lord, for you have triumphed gloriously. Lord, you are my strength and my song. You have become my salvation. You are my God and I will praise you. I will exalt you, Father, my God. You are a man of war. The Lord is your name.
Your right hand, Lord, has become glorious in power. Your right hand, Lord, has dashed the enemy in pieces. And in the greatness of your excellence, you have overthrown the enemy who rose against you. You sent forth your wrath and it consumed them like stubble. Lord, there is power with the blast of your nostrils. You blew with your wind and the enemy sank like lead in the mighty waters.
Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? You stretched out your right hand; the earth swallowed the enemy. You in your mercy have led, redeemed, and guided your people in your strength to your holy habitation.
Lord, you will plant me in the mountain of your inheritance. You will put me in the place you have made for your own dwelling. I dwell in the sanctuary which your hands have established. The Lord reigns forever and ever, Amen.
