No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

1 Corinthians 10:13

Some of our young loved ones have some difficult problems. Alcoholism. Drug addiction. Pornography addiction. Sexual sins. Gangs. Crimes. This list is endless.

The fact of the matter is that when we are faced with a severe situation, we feel isolated and alone. The enemy will make us feel like we are the only person going through that situation. What do we do in this situation? We pray based on the Word of our God.

In this passage of scripture, Paul says that your loved one is not alone. There is not one thing that has tripped them that has not tripped others. The key phrase in this scripture is that God is faithful! If that young person has the mind to get out of her or his situation, God can provide a way of escape. Isn’t that great news?

Just remember:

1. You are not alone.

2. God is there to help you.

PRAYER: Father, my loved ones are really entrapped in some difficult sin. This situation has the power to really steal a lot of things from them. Lord, open their eyes and give them the desire to make this right. Also, give them the help they need to walk in Your way, with Your help.
