“He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.” Psalm 1:3

The first Psalm says that the individual who doesn’t walk in the advice of the wicked, or stands in the pathway of sinners, or sits in the company of mockers is happy or blessed. This person’s delight is in the Lord’s instruction or in the law. It is on God’s law that this person meditates day and night.

Promise: Whatever the righteous man does shall prosper.

PRAYER: Thank you, Father, for watching over the righteous. What a promise to know that those whose delight is in your law are like trees planted by flowing streams that bear fruit whose leaves do not wither. Thank you for ensuring that whatever I do prospers. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
