“You will guide me with Your counsel, And afterward receive me to glory.” Psalm 73:24

Today we focus on God’s promise to guide and counsel us. Psalm 16:7 says, “I will bless the Lord who has counseled me. Indeed, my mind instructs me in the night.” Psalm 32:8 reads, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go.”

Everyday life is filled with decision-making. Simple decisions. Complex, difficult ones. Big ones and small ones. We can easily become overwhelmed. Certainly, it’s reassuring to know that God will guide us with his counsel. His direction is just a prayer away. The word says we only have to ask him to teach us in the way we should go.

Promise: He has promised to guide and counsel us.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you that I don’t have to do life alone. When the path I should take is clear, you are there. When the way is uncertain and I am at a crossroad, you are there. “Lead me, guide me along the way. For if you lead me, I cannot stray. Lord, let me walk each day with thee. Lead me oh, Lord, lead me.” In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen
