Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Proverbs 3:3-4

When was the last time we told our children or grandchildren this principle? I think I may have taught my offspring these principles in broad terms, but I have never made a connection between faithfulness and love. When I read this passage, I think about doing the best for everyone and being consistent. The writer says that this will give us a good name and result in favor in the sight of God and man.

PRAYER: Lord, teach me to walk in love, as you have loved us. Also let my walk be one of consistency—one of stability. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
