But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.

Micah 5:2

PRAYER: You could have chosen any city for the Savior to be born. I would have thought that you would have chosen Jerusalem, but you choose Bethlehem, one of the smallest cities. This passage of scripture reminds me that you specialize in using the small and obscure. Let me never think that I am unusable because of my place in this world. You take the foolish things to confound the wise. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
