“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me.

Psalm 138:7

In this Psalm about God’s goodness to the faithful, David praises God with his whole heart. He praises our Heavenly Father for his lovingkindness and for his truth. He is mindful that when he cried out, God answered him. Even kings shall praise the Lord, he declares. Even kings will sing of the Lord’s ways.

Are you in the middle of a troublesome situation? Rest assured that God will stretch out his hand and save you.

Promises: He promises to revive us, to save us from our enemies.

PRAYER: Lord, you are mighty and great is your glory. Even though your ways are above mine, you care about the lowly. Thank you for walking with me in the midst of trouble. While my enemies are all around me waiting to devour me, you save me. Thank you, God! In the name of Jesus, I pray and give you praise. Amen
