“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Jeremiah 29:11

There are times when it is really difficult to accept the providence of God because we don’t believe that God is kind. The author alludes to the fact that we often question God’s love for us when troubles come. We must remember that God is our biggest fan. He is always rooting for us and seeking our greatest good.

PRAYER: Lord, please remind me of your kindness in all situations. Holy Spirit, bring those scriptures about your goodness and kindness back to my memory when I am struggling with accepting your love. In the name of Jesus, I praise you. Amen.
