Those who wait for perfect weather will never plant seeds; those who look at every cloud will never harvest crops.
Ecclesiastes 11:4
Every day, we are all forced to make decisions. Most decisions are made without thought, for many of our actions are habit. Then there are times we just make decisions because it is clear what is God’s will is and what God’s will is not. Every now and then, we must make a decision that is not “black and white.” Those decisions are the most difficult. We may be praying about taking another job, moving to another city, buying another car – you get the picture. Those decisions are often made based on favorable circumstances, but we are God’s people and should be ready to obey God, despite what we see or how we feel.
PRAYER: Lord, let me not wait for perfect weather to plant seeds. Let me learn to depend on what you say, not what I see.
