And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose

Romans 8:28

God’s call is purposeful. This means that God has a purpose for each of us. Even though it may feel like our train has been derailed because of difficult circumstances, nothing can be farther from the truth. This passage of scripture says that all things work for our good and are purposeful in what God wants to do in our lives.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, there are times when I feel like my decisions have taken me down some roads I should have never gone down. Thanks for reminding me of this powerful promise. Remind me, when I need it, that all things work for my good and are purposeful. You take all my experiences and work them to work for me. Hallelujah!
