“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” Matthew 5:14
The church is the light of the world. We know that life can feel like a dark place. Colossians 1:13 says that we have been delivered from the domain of darkness, the place where wickedness and evil reside. When you deliver us from the darkness, we become light. This light serves as a lighthouse for others who are trapped in darkness.
PRAYER: Thank you, Lord, for allowing your church to be light. This light gives direction and hope to the world, as we reflect who you are. In the name of Jesus, I pray and give thanks. Amen
