The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.

Isaiah 11:2

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for this beautiful passage that reminds me that our Lord Jesus would be formed by the Holy Spirit and would be settled in him. The Holy Spirit would not just come upon him but would abide in him. This Spirit would provide wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and fear of the Lord. Now that Jesus has sent his Spirit to us, the Spirit lives in us and produces this same fruit. Let me take hold of this fruit today. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
