But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.

Micah 5:2

PRAYER: Lord, this reminds us about the specificity of your promises. You speak the Word, and it is so. You declared that your Son would be born in Bethlehem. It happened just as you said it would. As you were specific with this, so are you with us. You are concerned about every detail of our lives, counting the hairs on our head, and I am beyond grateful. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
