The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction

Proverbs 1:7

Wounds teach us lessons. It is important to let go of the pain, but hold on to the lesson. What did you learn about the other person? What did you learn about you? What did you learn about God? It is important to do a debriefing after a painful situation. Why? Because our God wants us to grow in knowledge. James 1:3-4 says to let patience have its perfect work that we may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. Your tribulation comes to teach a lesson and do a work. Allow God to use it to teach you wisdom.

PRAYER: Lord, teach me the lessons through my pain so that I don’t repeat them. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
