He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk

is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.

Proverbs 2:7-8

What a way to end the week! The word of the Lord says that God holds success

for the upright and shields those of us whose walk is blameless. It goes on to say

that he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.

This is one of the blessings of obedience. Does it mean that you will never

encounter a storm? Of course not! What it does mean is that you have avoided

some unnecessary drama because of walking down the wrong path.

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for protecting my way as I obey you. Keep me in your

pathway Lord. I don’t want to stumble or fall. In the Name of Jesus. Amen
