Rejoice always.
1 Thessalonians 5:16
The word of the Lord says that we are to rejoice in the Lord always. This word means to have joy or delight in the Lord and to feel joy when you think of him always. In this passage and in Philippians 4:4, we are told to rejoice always.
In this season, we celebrate everything that Christ provides for us in his coming. One of those things is joy. In sadness: rejoice. In happiness: rejoice. In fatigue: rejoice. In lack: rejoice. In need: rejoice. In anger: rejoice. For this is the will of God that we rejoice in all things.
PRAYER: Thank you for joy that never passes away.
